Strength Coaching FAQs

All levels. We work with beginners, intermediate lifters, and more advanced clients. If you’re new, we’ll teach you proper technique, give you a clear plan, and help you build confidence in the gym. If you’ve been training for a while but feel stuck, we look at what’s limiting your progress and adjust what needs to be fixed. We also work with recreational and competitive powerlifters, as well as physique focused clients wanting to improve body composition.
The first session runs for 60 minutes and is mainly focused on technique. You’ll still train, but the main goal is to assess how you move, teach you the right exercise technique, and work out what suits your goals, current level, and any injuries or limitations. After that, we build your program around your goals, schedule, and experience level, then send it through within 24 to 48 hours.
Yes. Training can usually be adjusted around injuries, pain, or movement limitations. In many cases, improving strength and exercise technique can help reduce pain and build confidence again. If needed, exercises are modified so you can keep training safely while still making progress.
Yes. A lot of clients start with little to no training experience. That’s normal. The whole point is to give you structure, teach you proper technique, and show you exactly what to do so you’re not guessing on your own.
No. You don’t need to get fit before starting. The program is built around your current level, not where you think you should already be. Whether your goal is strength, fat loss, muscle gain, or body composition, the coaching starts from where you are now.
Yes. That’s a big part of what we do. Programs are built around your specific goal, whether that’s getting stronger, building muscle, losing body fat, improving body composition, or a mix of those. The goal is to give you a clear plan that matches both your goal and your lifestyle.
Yes. You’re not just paying for the hour in the gym. You’ll be given a structured program to follow between sessions, based on your goals, schedule, training level, and any limitations. That way you know exactly what to do when you train on your own.
Yes. Nutrition guidance is included and adjusted to your goal, whether that’s fat loss, muscle gain, or improving body composition. This can include calorie and macro guidance where needed, along with practical advice you can actually follow.
That depends on your goal, your budget, and how much support you want. Some people do weekly sessions. Others do fortnightly, monthly, or a more flexible setup. The right option depends on how much coaching, accountability, and technique feedback you need.

No. 1 on 1 personal training and online coaching are contract free, so you can cancel at any time.

Easy. Just send us a text, call, or email and we can cancel it straight away. No forms. No messing around.

Yes. You can pause coaching if you’re away on holiday or need a break, and there are no pause fees.

If you’re doing weekly face to face personal training, yes, gym membership is included. If you’re doing less frequent sessions, gym membership is separate. If you’re doing weekly online coaching, gym membership is available at a reduced rate.
Yes. Coaching is flexible. You can do weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or online coaching depending on what suits your goals, schedule, and budget best.
You need to be at least 16 years old to do personal training on your own. If younger than that, it would need to be discussed first depending on the situation.
